Every production has different needs. That's why we offer two distinct chroma key systems — a fixed cyclorama for large-scale shoots and a mobile frame system for maximum flexibility. Both are available in green, and the mobile version also comes as a classic blue screen.

Designed for large-scale productions, Studio 1 features a fully integrated curtain system running across our 8 x 4 m cyclorama. Perfect for commercial video, VFX plates, virtual production, music videos, and full-body fashion shoots. Fast to set up, incredibly versatile — and one of the largest built-in greenscreens in Berlin.

Yes. We offer equipment rental, set construction, props, and full production services — so you can book everything from one place.

How large is your built-in cyclorama?

The cyclorama in Studio 1 measures 8 m wide x 4 m deep, with matching green flooring — one of the largest built-in greenscreens in Berlin, big enough for full-body shots and multi-person scenes.

Can I build the greenscreen in other studios at Studio Chérie?

Yes — our 5 x 3 m mobile frame system can be assembled in all 5 of our studios. That means you can combine a greenscreen setup with daylight windows, concrete floors, or a brick wall, depending on your creative needs.

Is the cove lighting included in the studio rental?

The built-in cove lighting system is available as a 300 € add-on per day. It guarantees a perfectly even chroma key background and saves you hours of rigging on set.

What's the difference between a greenscreen and a bluescreen?

Both are chroma key backgrounds used for VFX and compositing. Green is the industry standard for most digital productions because it delivers clean keying on modern sensors. Blue is often preferred when filming blonde hair, green wardrobe, or for a more film-like look. Our mobile frame system is available in both.

How much does it cost to rent a greenscreen studio in Berlin?

Our built-in cyclorama in Studio 1 starts at 750 € for a half day and 1,200 € for a full day. The mobile frame system is available as an add-on to any of our 5 studio bookings. All prices plus VAT; discounts for editorial, test shoots, and charity projects.
